Paris Hilton the 'Hottie'

Paris Hilton will play the Hottie in the upcoming Valentine's Day release "The Hottie and the Nottie". OK, so she's been typecast — what we're waiting to see is if she can act. Wonder what the Vegas odds are on that?

Add Mischa Barton to the DUI list

Breaking news: Mischa Barton was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of narcotics and driving on a suspended license last night. In her mug shot, at right, she appears to be a bit disheveled and glassy-eyed.

According to this press release issued by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, the former "O.C." star was pulled over around 2:45 AM as she was driving in West Hollywood, Calif. The report said she "was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn." Deputies pulled her over and determined that she "was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage."

Barton was released from custody this morning after being held on $10,000 bail. The L.A. County Sheriffs' Inmate Information website called her "Mischa Burton." Sources said Mischa was "very cooperative" and "no trouble at all."

Spear's baby daddy ain't Casey?

Hot gossip: Tongues are wagging after a Star Magazine report that the father of Jamie Lynn Spears' baby is NOT longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge. The 16 year old star of Zoey 101 is roughly 12 weeks pregnant and the father is allegedly a producer on Zoey 101 who can't come out publically in fear of being charged with statutory rape. Star alleges that Casey is being paid off to be the fall guy so the real father avoids jailtime.

Jamie Lynn Spears 'name the Baby' poll

OK, we're giving you, our dear reader, the chance to help name Jamie Lynn Spears' baby!

That's right -- we've come up with the most probable names and included them in our poll (see sidebar). But you can of course provide your own name in the comments.
