Mischa Barton is rumored to be vying for a spot on the cast of Desperate Housewives.After being killed off on the season finale of "The OC" -- the teen show that made her famous -- the British-born actress is said to be in close discussions with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry about a new role.
Cherry's spokesperson said, "He's interviewing and auditioning all the time. I'm sure Mischa would be a welcome asset to the show, but who knows what will happen?"
